Ron,

It was a pleasure to meet and your lovely wife as well. Hope you enjoyed your time in WA, excluding our drivers of course. Safe travels for the remainder of your trip.

Thanks Cameron, 'tas good to meet up with you and Michelle. Unfortunately, I didn't tell Elisabeth I wanted more time in Perth so she didn't make the bokings to allow that - hence I didn't get around to meeting up with Ken, Jik22, or BradTot, et al. Sorry we didn't get to Williams to meet LandyAndy.

We are now in Bordertown, SA, and will be off to Shepparton, Vic, tomorrow. We were going via Kyabram to meet up with Ladas but he's overseas.

The following day it will be on to Wagga Wagga - I'm not sure if I'll meet CEWilson (Chris) but we hope to meet up with another Two Wheels forum member there.

If anyone is on our route and wants to meet up, SMS or call me on 0408 483 269

We were driving through Rutherglen in Vic yesterday and I saw a Defender 110 Extreme with, I thought, an AULRO sticker on the back window.

So i stopped and went back and, sure enough, it said "Gruntfuttock". It was parked next to a watchmaker's shop so I thought I'd ask in there.

As I approached, a bloke came out so I asked him. Yes, it was the man himself. Unfortunately, Peter was just heading off so we didn't get to chat fopr long. However, I am the first person from the forum who has dropped into the shop.

Pleased to have met you, Peter.

I didn't see the type of shop until I went to go into it and I had forgotten he was an horologist.
