Last week I got back from a trip to Adelaide and Melbourne.

Total mileage was 4006km, and fuel consumption varied from 11.18 to 12.5 l/100km, with an overall average of 11.27.

Total oil usage was about 3mm on the dipstick, most apparently coming out the front seal.

No car problems at all were encountered on the trip.

Sounds like a good overall result John.

Cheers, Mick.

I seem to get about 10l/100km no matter what - pretty good really.

So, how did you enjoy ASEG, John?

Quite good - saw some of your colleagues there, as they perhaps relayed.

On the way back near Melbourne I visited a former colleague who saved his guesthouse north of Yarra Glen, but lost just about everything else. Things looked very black (literally) round that area.
