Hi Guys. I really need to get a manual or similar so i can stop asking so many silly questions. But before i do i have one more.

Does the connection from the air box to maf sensor hose have any type of gasket or seal?

I ask because i have a fine mist of dust on the out let of the air box and am trying to find the source?

Thanks [AGAIN] Jim.:D

If its a disco, common problem,do a search there are a number of posts on this.
I recon it is the seal of the airbox against the filter that allows the fine dust through. The MAF has an O ring on it on the upstream side, and a hose clip on the downstream side, from memory.

I put some thin foam tape and vacuum grease along the edge of the filter so the airbox lid seals tighter, seemed to reduce the fine dust.

The design of the airbox is pretty poor.....

I also recon the reason MAF failure is common is because of the dirt

Try here: Dave's Interesting Things (http://www.davesitshop.com/davesitshop/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=1)

Less than $20, so excellent value.

Its a real high temperature melting point grease....my brother gets it from work,if you drop a bit in a frying pan it wont melt.

I use it cos i have it
