In the search for bits and pieces for my soon to be back on the road 2a shorty I came accross a company in the UK called Paddock Spares. They have a comprenshive website with listings for specifically series stuff as well as all other LR models. Their stuff is a quarter of the cost that I have been able to source in QLD, just wondering if anyone has had a good experience with them, or not??

A big thumbs up from me for Paddocks too.
Ok, so I live in England, but their service is first class and I am always happy to reccomend these guys for all mail order Landy needs.
Good to see their excellent service stretches across the seas to our Ozzy cousins too. ;)

Yep, I get a few things from them. You could also try John Craddock in the UK.

You can also try this mob L. R. Series - specialists in land rover, land rover series and range rover - gearbox, axle, transmission parts, spares and major units (http://www.lrseries.com/) they are also very good

I have delt with paddocks in the past and have found them very good

I use Paddocks whenever I don't need the parts the same day.
Expect the parts to arrive within 5 working days if you do order :)
Don't forget to add extra little things too such as rubber bushes. Makes bugger all difference to the postage cost but will save you even more money and you'll have them on the shelf when you do need them.
You will save a bundle ordering through them.

I have had them air mail stuff to me, but quite a while ago. Service was pretty quick, but postage is high if parts are heavy. If putting a biggish order together, it may pay to split it otherwise you may have to pay Customs and Taxes at this end, when you go to collect your parcel. When taxes etc combined with postage, the parts are not so cheap. I found their master and slave cylinders to have a pretty short life, so have had them sleeved with stainless steel so all good 10 years later!
