Hi all,
I have almost finished the rewire on the Rangie and decided to give it a test. Almost everything is ok except:
When I put on the hazards, the indicator warning light in the binnacle works fine.
When I put on either left or right blinker, the indicator light in the binnacle does not work, but the actual indicators work fine.
As far as I can see from the wiring diagram, here is only 1 wire from the flasher unit to the binnacle warning light, so if it works with the hazards then it should also work with left/right indicator.
The only thing different at the moment is that the rear lights are not wired up yet.
I am wondering, is there a voltage sensor or something in the binnacle which stops the indicator warning light not working if a globe is blown or something like that? I would not have thought this to be the case but I cant work out any other reason why the binnacle light does not work.
I guess I am hoping someone else has had the same problem. I really dont want to have to pull the binnacle apart. :(
thanks,
Adam
