How do people power their Nanocom when using it at home, I see that it needs a power supply with a min of 100mA, is there somewhere it can be purchased.

Have a good look around the house and see what power adapters you have. All your printers, modems.. etc drop down to the same voltage. You just have to check the info on the adapter.

I ended up with the power adapter that came with an Energiser AA/AAA battery charger. This is used to charge the batteries for the camera.

This one fits perfectly and does the job.

Hi Baz,

I purchased a digitor adapter ( Output 12v@0.7A max) from Tandy Electronics with several different male plugs. Works fine. Just remember to check the polarity.

While we’re talking Nanacom and not wishing to side track this thread. I wish to mount mine on the dash. Is it just a matter of getting a longer cable (6ft say) with the correct ends? (ie a trip to Dick Smith)

OK I found a power supply suitable:D 12v 500mA, it says the range is 100mA to 700mA SO so this should be perfect.

Dan, Rovacraft have them for $499 + $10 postage.
