hey all,

i have a 300tdi d1, now when i start her up with the bonnet open i notice exhust fumes coming from the engine but dont know where??? has anyone had the same prob with theres???

Very likely a leak at the exhaust manifold gasket where it joins to the head. The rear stud/s sometimes come loose and or fall out, causing the gasket to leak. Is there any ticking noises when driving underload?
