Sacrilege. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but create such a perversion as a chocolate hot cross bun.

Seems to be the in-thing with the bakery/supermarket chains.

I used to work for Bakers Delight (those who don't know I'm a baker by profession before the lure of gyprocking and three times the money was a better way to carve out a living) for a time and glad I'm not in the trade when that bright idea was conceived . I haven't eaten a hot cross bun since I left the industry 7 years ago, we did so ****ing many of them daily they made me sick

Chocolate is derived from coco, the bean of the coco tree (suprise, suprise). Beans are in the fruit/vegetable food group, ergo....health food, so FILL YA BOOTS :D:D:D

I like choco hot cross buns, but i prefer to get regular and just spread melted chocolate on them instead of butter or margarine or what ever people put on them..
