Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions re a hosting provider. Don't care if servers are US or AUS based as long as support is AUSTRALIA based!

Currently my host offers me:

5gb disk space
50gb data transfer
ability to host multiple domains using cpanel (hosting multiple domains is my requirement)
MySQL Db's - must have atlease min of 5+ on offer
domain pointing/forwarding

They put their prices up from $112.10 > $161.48 / year now and I am trying to justify the extra $49.38 having not being advised of the increase nor of what the increase was for or what services are meant to be better as a result. As a paying customer I think it's only courtesy to know but not all businesses divulge especially if it's just going straight to the pocket!

So above rant over... if you can offer some suggestions that would be appreciated.

I'm happy with the package I have - just not the price increase so i'd be looking for something around the same package but not the price.

Forgot to add - if you have used the hosting provider or can vouch for their uptime reliability and support and they are willing to provide references that'd be good.

Thanks

Lp

Thx Phoenix - appreciate the reply.
Have had a look on his site - I think he's more geared up for pc support related areas as apposed to what I am seeking as mentioned in my original post... I didn't find anything mentioned about being a hosting provider and products offered in that area...

Cheers

I'd check out Digitalis (www.digitalis.com.au) - I can personally vouch for both their service and reliability, all at a good price. Both servers and support are Aus based.

The plans listed on their website are all below what you're seeking, but if you email them your specs you might be pleasantly surprised by their quote.

Cheers

Gday - I know you want Aus-based support but I thought I'd mention this anyway - I am using one of the big US hosters - www.godaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) - for my site www.wildfoto.com.au (http://www.wildfoto.com.au) - also us it for my email domain etc... also got other private sites on it (like a big family wiki)

Very cheap and seemingly reliable... email support seems very responsive but I've rarely needed it...

Have all sorts of windows/linux hosting packages with all sorts of apps, databases etc...
