Hi All
I am rebuilding the above
have run into a small problem
on the back of the tub there are about six holes, 3/16 in size, 3 either side of the wheel mount, about 3/4 the way up
2 between the 2 vertical straps and the third between them and the wheel mount.
any ideas what they are for?
also 2 7/16 holes in the floor about 5 inches out from the rear and about 20 inches apart
any ideas would help
cheers

G,day if you could post a few photos of these "holes" in the tub it would help us alot to see if they are factroy or a later addition.

Hi all
having a issue with Photo bucket
the six equal spaced holes 3/16 in size are in line with the 2 small strips above the seat boxes across the rear wall
The 2 holes in the floor are equal distance from the edges, 3/8 in size and 7 1/4 inches from the the rear wall and 16 1/2 inches apart.
wondering if there was a base or tyre support?
cheers

Ian
When you move your cursor over a pic the drop box will appear and give you four different links to use. Copy the bottom of the four that starts with [IMG] and then paste it into your post text.
Hope this helps, Easo

Hi All
After 3 days of wondering what they were for I tripped over a strip of ally in the shed.
What was that on the truck for?
Then the penny dropped, it held the rubber draught strip on the front of the tub. The holes are used in mounting it.
So ends another Land rover puzzle
cheers
Ian
