After many many weeks, shops, internet sites, shops and shops, I have decided that the tent I and my girlfriend will be takng on our month long drive tour of Tassie will be a Blackwolf Mojave SG4. Plenty of room inside to sleep and store crap. Main reason I have gone for a bigger tent, was that if it was raining, we could comfortably sit inside the front room of the tent, drink vodka, smoke cigars/pipes, and play cards. Might take a little longer to assemble than other tents, but I want room inside, and that was a compromise I was happy to have.

I should be picking it up this week :D
and the new air mattress:D
and my 12 foot, 12 kg fishing rod the week after.:D
and I still wouldnt have touched my KRudd payment :D

Then we will ba going to Honemoon Bay, near Jervis Bay, to test it all out at the end of April. The trip after that will be to Hawks Nest.

Ill post pics when I get the gear :D

Mmmmm, interesting

Might add that to the "I need this for camping. If I dont have it, camping will be a failure" list

Thanks for that :)

KRudd payment might now have a chip in it...

When you are at Honeymoon - make sure you get over to Target Beach - is (was) magnificant - and great fishing - or is it now a marine reserve - is a few years since I have been there.

Walk down to Target beach while at honeymoon bay. 3 gangs and some salted pillies. Salmon should be on.....

Garry, yep, it's still great.....

Well the tent and air mattress arrived the other day. My girl and I set the tent up tonight, which took us about 20 minutes. Took us that long as we were taking our time, not really knowing what we were doing. Now we both know, I reckon we could have it knocked up in 5 minutes. Its really a easy tent to erect. Ill post pics in the morining.

We going to sleep in it tonight :D Yay, camping in the backyard! Havent done that since I was a little kid!
