fuel filler/cap

hey all .
just after info on ow to solve the leaky filler cap on an 86 range rover,its at the state now that i don't go over 65 L on a fill.
there is a service kit listed but not shure if thats the issue, also can the lock barel be removed{to have a key cut...ala rear window lock} thanks in advance

ive stopped the oil loss ,no its the stench of fuel :(

when mine did that i just put a secondhand cap on it and that fixed it.

thanks....i seem o ave stoped it{slowed at least} course sandpaper to the gasket and lip,,,lets hope
