Congrat's! So Lou found you a stray puppy to keep you occupied on your days off:cool:
Look forward to the project thread on its restoration. Looks like its got a safari roof? Is it running with the original engine?

Thought they were only found on the lawn mower, brush cutter or generator. I'd almost forgotten cars had them;)

Nice one!
2.25 or 2.6 Petrol? Diesel?
I'll also be following your rebuild with interest
Plenty of 'character' in the body panels  Nothing that won't polish out :D
:)
Cheers,
 Mark

petrol. not sure much after that, off top om head think that a four bearing engine, think teh five was s111.
the body panels look quite bent but i think they can be tidied up, teh sills are pretty bad but may need replaceing, will ahve better look tomorrow.

think it will be steep learning curve for us both, but should be fun.

G'day All, Back to Muddymec's post of the 6/4/09 the engine will most likely be a 3 main bearing engine, the 5 M/b's were late mod Ser 3, Rover to my knowledge never had a 4 main bearing engine cheers Dennis:angel:

In fact, four main bearing engines would be very rare except for engines with three cylinders (early Suzukis) or V6 engines, possibly some V12s.
