I have just purchased an Asus Eee pc. I have a full copy of natmap and I have a Magellan external GPS receiver head which fits a usb port. Question...How do I set this up to work bearing in mind I have no idea? Do I need extra maps? If so where do I get them? I propose to Install the maps on a minihard drive connected to computer via usb. All help would be appreciated. Jim :D:D:D

You'll need some software that will read the Natmap files and plot your position as you move - a lot of people are using Oziexplorer The Official OziExplorer Web Site - GPS Mapping Software for Magellan, Garmin, Lowrance, Eagle, MLR Receivers (http://www.oziexplorer.com/) It's pretty good and easy to set up.

cheers, Andy
