Well I posted before about looking at a 1995 tdi Disco but I asked so many questions and looked around a bit in the end that one sold. I've looked at a few others (not worth even mentioning) and then found a 1998 Disco tdi perfect condition and that sold before I got there lol. Now I found a 1999 td5 which looks the goods except for td5 not sure I want to go that route with 240k on the clock and electronic motor. I want to have some thing to do longer remote trips. So any way the search goes on... Maybe a Land cruiser or Patrol is going to be the goods in the end. I thought finding a good low k Disco would be easier and cheaper than those but it's not looking that way.

keep searching mate. I have had heaps of Patrols and Cruisers until I bought my disco a year ago and never really appreciated the simplicity and ride comfort t gave me. Then sold it and bought another patrol but wasnt entirely happy with that and on reflection, I should have kept the disco. Now have a RRC and love it.

The LR's have so much more charachter and a better ride imo, hang in there. the right one will come up when you least expect it ;)

...And better 300K on a Tdi than 240K on a 1999 Td5....:)
