Funny the things that bring back memories.

Tizer or Dandelion and Burdock and a packet of Smiths 'crisps' sitting outside Pavenham Pub, Sunday lunchtime after a morning fishing.

Memories of being a kid in UK in the 60s

NM, its dark blue, still available, and god do i miss them..... nothing like plain, unsalted potato crisps IMO

other things i miss about the UK?

80p cone of soggy chips and garlic mayo on the market in Gt Yarmouth on a saturday morning
half a pound of jot to go on top (the mad cow scare killed that one off though)
D&B
Carte Noir coffee
Deep fried plaice roe
FRESH herring for breakfast on a sunday morning

god, no wonder i'm a bat fastard!

Lindt with 70% minimum is my usual, 80% is better, and the chilli, and also the coffee versions make a nice change too.

If I want something a little sweeter, Old Gold Rum & Raisin is good.

I'm also quite partial to Carob. Don't ask me why, I just like the taste. Haven't had any for years though.

I find that Easter egg chocolate is always lower quality than the brands regular chocolate. Unfortunately I then end up with a migraine :( :(

On one occasion when I ate some chocolate it felt like Mr Anderson's face in the Matrix movie :o - but THAT is a whole other story! :D ;)

That's why you buy brand name chocolate eggs....or does ALL chocolate give you a headache
Poor quality chocolate frequently gives me a migraine, particularly the little solid chocolate eggs (even Cadbury) and it seems almost all Easter Egg chocolate give me migraine. My assumption is that they use a lower grade chocolate for the novelty eggs.

Good quality Belgian or Swiss chocolate and the sea shells are usually O.K. excluding too much of any of them.

Quality over quantity any day.

Any Belgian/ swiss is usually good.
Lindt is great.

Cadbury has too many fillers and just lacks flavour for my liking.

I will eat it if stranded on an island with no other food though.

Interesting UK Cadbury is nicer than Australian Cadbury.

Something to do with the fact that they use coconut milk as an ingredient here to be able to cope with the various temperature ranges across the continent.
