Hi there all
I returend home early due to family committments - but the weekend in a word "great"
This years event we ran a series convoy from Adelaide, with a stop over at our place at "Wilmington". A good night of socal chit chat was had by all, with a BBQ tea with some liquid refreshments and we departed next day for Blinman. The series convoy was well excepted, with some 25 plus cars participating.
I didnt get any pictures - but hoping others on the forum can post some.........as for winners, in the series one section
Ian "Back-in" took out best 80" and 88/86
"Dennis" took out best 107/109 with his Series One Wagon, and runner up was a nice 107 ute from Victoria.
Myself "Ellard" - won best "Special Interest" with Series One Fire Engine..
And the wife "Melenee" came runner up with her 86" - and now wants it restored and paint it "PINK".
The kids raced in there push bikes around the trials track (to my shock and horror our two daughers won), were visited by easter bunny being driven around in a SIII (open top). It was the first Land Rover event my wife and kids have attended - but has already booked accomodation for next years event.
Again there were many winners - and for those with pictures......please post.
