D1 TDI Electrical problems ?

Hi all !!

Yes me again, Now starting on a few other little problems !

The vehicle is a 98 TDI Diso and I used quite a number of bits of a 95 V8 Disco, so maybe there is a few diferances between the Age and electrics?

1: When the battery is connected the Tacco allumination lights up all the time key on or off ?
2: Tacco does not work untill you turn the lights on ?
3: Central locking does not work ? Not keyless model ! Door only !
4: When you turn the Lights on the SRS lights light up !! Vehicle is a non SRS vehicle

I have the v8 instrument cluster fitted ??? Is there a differance ?

SRS has found a fault.
arr OK dash lights??? I would think an earth problem????
take the SRS globe out.

Thanks, I did answer it !! LOL, but I thought all the dash's would be the same just with wiring differance to suit !

also my thoughst were towards a earth problem but I cant seem to find any earths I have missed ?!?!

It seems to be an earth !

The interior light does not work on the door switch aswell but des when you flick it on manualy ?

Ive checked all the earth I can find ?? Can anyone tell me where the earths earth to for those circuits ?
