G'day.
Anyone here, or family, own a Kedron ATV caravan ?

I have been thinking for a while now that I need to own one !!
Of course, I have seen the Gall Bro videos and the vans seem to do the job but the boys dont say much about the vans themselves.
I would be more interested in owners opinions than salesman speak.
They do seem to handle the corrigations and stuff quite well.

My little Lorikeet gives them the thumbs up and would be happy to go
tattahs with one, eh.
Betty would be happy as long as it has a dunny and a shower.
Betty and Bird both like the idea of having a diesel heating system during winter travel. Keeping in mind that the Birdy has her own lecky blanket.

On our next trip up to the Cape, we will be taking a camper trailer but for
extended trips these days when I have to take the family ( Betty and Bird ) we need to replace our van with an ATV.

So, what can you tell me about them ?
Tar.

I have a Kedron RV, which is very similar to the current XC range.

I am very happy with it, its a very clean and well built van. Much better than the old Viscount I had.
It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was the right price, which brings me to my next point:
THEY ARE VERY VERY SUPER EXPENSIVE!

You might like to also checkout the Kedron Owners Group Forum:
KEDRON OWNERS GROUP (http://www.kedronownersgroup.com/) (registration needed)
But beware, there censorship would make the Rudd Government proud and don't forget to mention that you love Cursers, especially the new 200 series jobbie.
Even think about mentioning a LandRover and you will get flammed!! (which makes for hours of entertainment when **** stirring)

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Kedron from the experience with my own caravan, but some other brands which may be comparable are:

Bush Tracker:
Bushtracker - Real caravans for the outback (http://www.bushtracker.com/)

and

Phoenix
Phoenix Home Page (http://www.phoenixcaravans.com.au/)

Kedron also have a interweb site, that may be worth a look it you haven't seen it before:

Thanks Maca, thats the info I was hopng for.
That looks like a nice tidy van you have there.

I have considered a Bush Tracker but I think I prefer the Kedron as it
appears to have the bits and pieces and options in the right places
to suit us.
I know they are expensive but if you want it to go the distance, thats
the price we have to pay.

I will check out their forum.

Thanks again.

Please do not flame me :D :D That's because most people that use caravans still have tastes they developed in the 50's or 60's. :D :wasntme:

Again, please don't flame me! Each to their own. It's just an observation that caravans are usually owned by an older age group.
