Can I have some up to date opinions on chips for a 2000 model disco td5 (non flash programable)?
Is this suitable?

i wouldnt recomend it, the soldering part, it would be quite a task for an ''at home job. there are alot of pins to de soilder and alot to re soilder without putting to much heat into the board.
try tombie2.
ide be looking for a flashable ecu, that way you can flash your own/3rd party maps onto it your self.
cheers phil

Tombie2 can supply flashable Ecu's for $850.00 with the upgrade. Limited qtys.
Based on trade-in of your non-flash version.
Or no-trade for $990.00.

I have a chipped ECU which I had put into my TD5 D2, by Triumph, Rover Spares in Lonsdale SA. I no longer have the rest of the TD5. Ready to run.
Yours for $500 plus postage.

I had my 2001 TD5 ECU chiped with the auto logic UK program. General overall improvement and am getting better overall economey. I know a number of defenders that speak highly of the SA upgrade.
