D1 Rear springs into D2 front

Was talking to a mate today that said D1 rear springs will fit the front of a D2 and give about a 2" lift.

Can anyone confirm or dispell this?

Yes it will.... i have done it to Wardy's D2

You will also need to change the lower spring perch to a flat bottomed one. BTW, you can also use D2 and RRC rears also.

Actually, when you change the lower perch, the D2 ones will sit higher than the D1 ones. IIRC the difference is 10mm or 1/2" or similar.
