Trying to fix the usual problem of the 3 amigoes. These 3 amigoes have been on for the last 6 months. Unsure as to where to find the codes required while using the electronic diagnostics, nanocom. I am a first time user of the nanocom so would appreciate the wisdom of other Disco 2 owners.

Thanks nereece

You need to explore the Nanocom.
It reads seperate ECUs in your vehicle.
The SLABS ECU contains the faults you are chasing.
You cant do any harm with the Nanocom.Much easier to read the info if you plug a laptop in.If you dont have a laptop it still is quite easy to use via the Nanocom display,ONCE YOU GET YOUR HEAD AROUND HOW IT WORKS:eek::eek::eek::eek:
If you are having trouble operating it yell out, most of us have now been there done that and can help you out.

What brand brake pads do you use? this is no **** if yr brakes squeal they cause a harmonic interference with the abs sensors and can cause the problem you have. So stick with the OE pads and dont use bendix.

Hi,
Bought a nanocom yesterday, to read and clear the 3 amigoes error code. :(
To get unlock codes, you will need to register your device on the website www.nanocom.it. Then login and check the restricted area for these codes.

To get the error code on the nanocom
- After pressing any key to connect, press right arrow 3 times to get to SLABS ASB-SLS (DISCOVERY II), press ent
- READ FAULTS, press ent
- Read ECU fault register?, press ent

My error code is
FAULT 24-05 front right sensor output intermittent INTERMIT. 254 times

After doing this a few times, I can now virtually clear the error with my eyes closed? :D

Now, is it time for me to replace the sensor cable or the front brake pads.
