Gday

Was looking in a shop today :o

And this certain shop has a specials table that often has marked down items on it. And today it had one of these on it:

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=398#nuvi310

For $200; marked down from close to a grand. It's ex display model and needs a map upgrade, but apart from that it works. The reason for being so cheap was it was old stock and I don't think they supply them anymore

What do you reckon?

Jump at it?

Trouble is if I get a GPS I'm keen to get one that will draw in a track when 4WDing so I can go back to it. I've been told this one doesn't :(

Thanks

Hi
Just from a quick glance that one is limited to finding your way around the city streets/roads and not for the bush.
cheers

It's an old model and has been superseded by the Nuvi 265. It can take an SD card and so you'd be able to load Shonky Maps (free) or Oztoppo on for some off-road use. But it is primarily designed for road navigation. Also check which version of City Navigator it comes with (should have 2009).
