Im looking to connect a CarPc to the Ecu to use as a virtual dashboad. Think this will work with standard Obd2 interface and pc software ?

Possibly, you will have to check if the system you intend to use will work with the diesel engine. A lot of the straight OBD2 diagnostic tools only work on petrol ECM's due to them being out of the USA.
