Hi all,
Just joined forum and would like some info on lifting suspension on D2 with airbags, I'm sure this has been covered to death but it has taken too long to sift through the forums for an answer. I would like to keep airbags and am interested in spacer kits but don't know anything about them. I want to raise my vehicle 40-50mm, currently the front standard springs have sagged and I constantly bottoming out on pot holes and large bumps. I am looking at using Bilstein or Koni shocks and possibly tough dog or king spring raised heavy duty springs in the front. So far I have not got much help from suspension companies and my local LR supplier recommends a spring conversion kit, but I don't wish to go down this path. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Matt

Searching should bring up a fair bit of stuff.

The 4x4 innovaion kit for the SLS lift is good. That has spacers, and also comes with the extenders for the sensor links and so on.

And so it should.. Considering its original maker knocked off my design :(

Thanks for the replies, Tombie I have sent you an email regarding your kit, I'm just awaiting your reply. It was a forum link that lead me to your kit. I am still new to these forums and not all that computer literate so it takes some time for me to find items using search.
Cheers matt

Hello!!!

I'm currently in the middle of a night shift block, and during the days working in the yard building my new workshop so I've been sidetracked a little and barely go to the computer...:)

SLS kits have been assembled aside from the final component which is being countersunk and should be ready for collection Tuesday..

Then its just a quick tidy up (wipe dust off some of the parts  ) and into packets ready to ship....

Pricing will be finalised shortly.

Longer bags + Spacers + Bump Stops (etc) + suitable shocks = 4" SLS lift

Thanks, but I dont supply the bags.... Just making more kits

X2.

My extra lift comes from running the 2" spacers along with just the modified sensors to give the full 4" lift. I would rather longer bags instead to ease the pressure on the bags a bit, but as we all know longer bags are almost impossible to find.

Ill bring them home tomorrow. supply some pics, give dimensions (any luck they will be in tomorrow too)
Its all been a bit of a silent project after ringing everybody and receiving the same answer NO, these bags are fully extended at 350mm and compress to approx 80mm, life time warranty. I was not going to say anything until I had them all fitted and working properly, Im sure it will just bolt up.
