Top find Reads!
Why do Land Rovers attract small children so readily :D I have a photo of my 80" on the desktop, with my 2 year old daughter perched on the wing. Unfortunately she is 22 now and the Rover is still in bits :(
Come on over and have a look at the Trans-Tasman site as well,
Cheers Charlie

Looks like it has all the right syuff to make a top little 80" when its finshed, the pannels look to be in very good order & the firewall looks great too.I also noticed that it has what looks like to be the correct motor as it has the "square" sump & not the later style.
Top stuff

Love the pics, especially the "bits in a caged trailer". It makes the S1 86" chassis I rolled into my shed last weekend look almost finished. Seriously though I'm jealous of all your body work, I'm slowly trying to accumulate body panels. Now have bonnet, doors, windscreen and the original bulkhead which shows more daylight than metal.
Good luck :D.

Well thanks to Numpty's Missus i now have a 1950 S1 80"
Where abouts is NM these days???
Thats a good project, its how i got my series 1, brought it off a bloke who liked stripping things but was not much chop at putting it back together again, also he had a strange fetish of collecting series 1 grills, i think from memory it came with about 10(?) different grills which were promptly dumped onto the numpties

I have 1950 S1 , 80 inch, 1600cc motor, bought as a spare parts car, perfect chassis, used on market garden all its life, amazingly straight panels. Just sitting there waiting fore something to happen......
One day it might!
