All,
I have a serial number of an 88" chassis.  Cant find it as an ARN.
It is 143800359.
Body LRS563
88"
Any help would be appreciated.
If you are interested let me know. or eBay is my friend.

That would be because 143800359 was sold to the NSW Government Stores for the Forestry Commission of NSW on the 25th February 1959. Engine number 141802348 NSW Rego BTW 932

G'day All, The S2A 88" GS the chassis number commence with 243******, the S2 com/rec chassis start with 143****** anyway Diana found your info cheers Dennis:angel:

what made you think it was army?

A gloss olive body, and time constraint was my worry that it may have been army.

Is it definitely an 8 in 143800359 and not a 9 with a bit of wear and tear thrown in ?

Where abouts are you or at least where is the chassis?

Don't see anything on that indicating military service. ;) I wouldn't have even bothered checking for an ARN! :p
It does look like it has had a stint with a rural fire brigade at some stage (red paint and labels EVERYWHERE) ;)
