i went in 03
my thoughts are way to much driving each day to events for not much action :(
if your in a spectators group thats where you have to go
some mornings we'd have to leave camp by 5am drive till lunchtime and gets to see the cars start wait a couple of hours then see them finish
i think from memory it was $300 for the spectators package back then
and you didn't even get a free stubbie holder in your package
dont get me wrong it was great to see the event
i just wouldn't waste the money again............

Gday Wayne,
Glad someone holding the fort for us:D Caught up with rangieman and his mate Ross for a chat on Sunday and enjoyed the event overall. Event was moved from the quarry this year which sucked for spectator point of view as no winching still enjoyable. Creek run was hard on some vehicles with a few breakdownd. Will post some rover pictures for anyone who may be interested when i pull my finger out.
Cheers Gaz
