I had my rear wheel jacked up yesterday but could not rotate it, just wondering if the Sailbury diff has a LSD or diff lock in it? I don't think it has a BOC locker as there is some free play. Any Idears befor I open the pumkin up to investigate?

That's correct. You won't be able to rotate it unless both sides are jacked up.
Then the other wheel will rotate in the opposite direction.

Was the handbrake off and the gearbox in neutral - or still in 4wd?:)

Who leaves a car in neutral with the handbrake off (unless it's in Park)?

Jack up both wheels and put the t-case in neutral with the handbrake off.
If it is an open diff, the opposite wheel will rotate in the opposite direction when you totate one wheel.
Otherwise, an LSD or (auto) locker wil make both wheels rotate in the same direction. No easy way to tell what is in there unless you pull the pan off though.
A CIG/Lincoln/BOC locker is still possible, depending on how it was done.
