standard cv's, how strong are they?

im just wondering as to how strong the standard front cvs are in the disco 2's as im looking into locking my disco atm but im not wanting to just do the rear for a couple reasons, but im hoping that i can get away with using standard cvs for the time being.

so how long do you reckon the standard LR items will hold up to a locker, treated carefully of course....

Not very, Ashcrofts make heavy duty CVs for the D2, Rovacraft have them, they are expensive though and you need to upgrade the axles too.
