Well dispite all the potential for puma-problems as I have read in various threads, I am off to visit Mr Land Rover this week and talk about the soon to be released 110 Crew Cab. The 90 has been great but just a little too little, now that my family has grown up.:D. Lease is up within 12 months - so the way Land Rover work, I may as well order it now;).
I have test driven a 110 puma and was impressed with the improved driveability over the td5. Yes they have had issues, but from memory the td5 also suffered in its first few years. Hopefully the systemic problems will have been identified now that the Puma is in its third year.
So I'll see what pittance I am offered on the 2005 90 as a trade in and then make some decisions from there. (Stand by for Marketplace Alerts)

The Puma Defender is a fine vehicle...and there will be a queue at your door to buy the 90 (if you are silly enough to sell it :p;))

Yes I have been known for my sillyness:woot:
The 90 has become my "town car" - I would love to keep it but Missus Sleepy refuses to drive a manual  - So she has the Disco. :)

I am careful not to turn this into a "90 for sale" thread, lest I upset the mods. If it comes up for sale I'll stick it in the Markets section.
But here's just one.
<<< pic removed by sleepy - this really was a discussion about Puma 110 Crew Cabs. I risk upsetting the balance of the universe if I let it devolve into "90 for sale" thread - photos in my Gallery >>>

Oh put the pic back, you're not selling it yet.
I would advise selling it privately, I doubt you'll have a problem shifting a fine looking vehicle like that.

The purpose of this bulletin is to communicate the new model information regarding the recently expanded Defender range. The new range will include a number of new derivatives that cater for both lifestyle and commercial buyers offering 130 wheelbases or 110 wheelbases and options that apply to off road users or heavy duty payload seekers.
The expanded Defender range provides incremental revenue opportunities for our businesses. The heavy duty 4WD pick sector is currently dominated by two models, the Nissan Patrol and the Toyota 70 series achieving circa 450 sales per month combined. With the new expanded Defender range Land Rover now offers users a strong and highly differentiated alternative (Alloy body, two wheelbase offerings, smaller capacity 2.4l common rail engine & 6 speed MT) at a competitive RRP.
