Hello kind-hearted souls
A charity runs a Troopy (sorry) and they're in need of new tyres. Standard size, close enough to 235/85/16. If anyone has a set in all-terrain or mud with some life left in them please let me know. The charity is Evolve, www.evolve.org.au - Welcome to Evolve at Typo Station (http://www.evolve.org.au), and I support them because I like the idea of prevention rather than cure.

Thanks guys, any more tyres for a Troopy appreciated, they run two and use them for general purposes as well as to take their boys out into the bush for a very long and exhausting hike.

I have a few AT Grabbers with 5-10K rubber left that they're welcome to.
But in Brisvegas ??

We've got at least 2x 235/85's A/T's with 30% left on them if someone from up north is coming down this way with the ones from Brissie ;)

I love the look of that group. If they ever do anything down my way get them to get a hold of me to see if there is anything I can do to help.

Tyres can be from anywhere. The cost of shipping will be much smaller than the cost of buying. Just have to be tyres with some reasonable life left on them.

What say I make up a list of type and tread depth and you decide if you want to take it from there?

I know this might be a stretch but why don't we all throw a couple of bucks in and buy them a set of newies?
I'm sure they wouldn't be fussed about the brand and would be much safer than running several different brands and treads on the one vehicle.
I can organise some relatively cheap import tyres though a mate or I have another who works for a very large tyre mob in Melb who also may be able to help out with a good discount for a good cause.

Thanks all. I have managed to score them a set of brand new ones in a bit of a deal, so they're all good now.
