I have a 2002 110 and the rear LHS door and Driver's door will not stay closed or not close at all. They get onto the first catch but will not go to the full closed position. I have tried adjusting the position of the striker plate but with no appreciable success. Anybody have any clues re this one please.

Happened to a mate of mine, it is possible to close the door fully; but with the slightest pressure they pop open?

We tried a new striker plate but that didn't work. In the end we had to put a new latch mechanism in, wasn't too hard to do. They are expensive to buy new ( I think about $140 each) but you may be able to pick up a second hand one like we did.

Either that or try adjusting the hinges, but I doubt that is the case
