With the update from BBS for the Faultmate I can now change a number of settings in my ECU's, tried it out tonight and changed the fuel economy in the trip computer to read Km's / litre. I think I can turn that ignition key in lock chime off, will have to check it out.
Can't wait for further updates as they get deeper into the guts of the electronics

Richard,
I also have the BBS tool, and I am looking forward to some more updates. Where is the ignition chime, I will have to have a play tonight...
Don't forget that some of the settings can be changed on vehicles with the radio controls on the steering wheel.
Cheers,
AP.

I think you also need the screen to do it.

I have changed the fuel consumption info from L/100k's to K's/L just with the steering wheel controls :p

When I toggle through the trip computer options I get the Settings, into which I can go and change lights off delay, overspeed alarm, l/km etc.
I think this is linked into:
- the memory seats, on the SE/HSE.... or is it the High-line audio?
- and the steering wheel radio controls
I read it somewhere on Disco3.co.uk... as the Father has the S with air, steerign wheel controls (when he fits them) and would like the settings.
Cheers,
AP.

Yes that's the hiline unit that has some extras over the loline unit in the "S" models.
The steering wheel controls for the radio should "plug and play"
I hope to investigate the ignition key chiming this weekend among other things

I checked ccf files a couple of weeks ago. The key in chime is set to disabled already:(.
Colin at BBS said they were working on it.
Yeah, you can't access the settings such as fuel units just by adding the sw controls. You need the Hi ICE or Premium ICE with the button on the stalk. (or a faultmate;))
