Just wondering if anyone on here would be able to share with me their comments on Edgeworth Quarry. It is fairly close to me but i have never been there and i hear people rave about it for a good place to get the 4x4 muddy :)

And since all this rain i am itching to get out in the mud! So just curious if any of you locals have been there and would be able to share with me the best spots for mud and forgiving terrain :)

Kind Regards! James. :)

If you want mud you want to go to Medowie either Medowie state forest or Wallaroo state forest, it's a very nice:D

With the same crowed as last time i am assuming?

I would be keen on seeing what the terrain out that way is like! when were you guys planning on going?

Would be outside my comfort zone as i don't know the area have limited experience and have never been 4x4ing at night...but i guess there is only one way to learn! and with you along in a similar specked vehicle it would give me an idea of what is possible.

Give me the details and i will see if i would be able to come along. :)

Cheers!

With all this rain around, and uni coming to an end on the 10th! i am itching to get out and paint Grover in a nice shade of brown!

But i don't have all the kick or skill. 98 Disco 300TDi with 2" lift and 31" Bighorns. No lockers to help me out which i would appreciate but feel i should tackle the mud without it to increase skill which is more important!

Basically, i want to get out soon and learn the tricks of the trade... i sometimes wish i went Auto as life would be easier in the scrub.

Where should i be heading i live on sugy! :)

James.

I am far from a fan of beach driving ... I will have a look at what i have in store on Sunday, how serious will the tracks be which you plan on tackling? as from memory you have a fairly serious rig! *amazing flex* I ask as i don't want to be a bother on the day! :)

Cheers.

What dont you like about beach driving? its good fun! :)
We will be heading out to a freshwater lagoon, its a nice spot and definetly not hard on the car. Have you had troubles with beach driving before?

We wont be doing anything that difficult, and everything is avoidable.. i will send you a pm with some details.
