A Stimulus Package that's actually stimulating (http://www.landrover.com.au/au/en/vehicles/range-rover-sport/current-promotions.htm) is the headline on LRA's website under Current Promotions. What dos this mean? The text appears to only relate to the proposed 50% Govt Tax Break.

Dealing with the Dealers is not something I relish as extracting straight answers has always proven difficult in the past. Before I wade into battle just thought I'd ask as to whether anyone has first hand knowledge of the existence of any current manufacturer backed special offers across the range or whether they are simply relying on the tax break to sell cars.

Yes, it only refers to the 50% tax break for businesses - (small businesses at that I believe), nothing in it for the average buyer.

My parents looked into it when it was only 30%, it is only a % deduction to lower your taxable income.

The dealers can't really tell you much anyway, it all comes back to the purchaser to check with their tax agent to ensure their eligibility.
