Black Headed Python methinks. I've seen a carpet python swallow a ring tail possum!

They are capable to have a "lunch" over 40% of their own weight.
If they could have access to Mylanta then perhaps 60% :D

I ran over a snake in the SIII last trip to Orange. Despite hating them, felt it was bad karma. (yes, it was not the most pleasant trip I've ever had!) Nearly had a heart attack. They make a horrid "snap" noise. Had visions of it flicking into the SIII. Bloody hell, had a terrible thought ... I'd better get the floor in before the weekend. Bad enough losing stuff through the hole in the floor, let alone the thought of a snake making it's way in ... More nightmares tonight!

Wow, Thats amazing!! How long did it take for the snake to swallow its dinner??
was watching Discovery or national geographic the other night. They were looking at giant snakes and had a python that had split open after eating something too big. a real case of its eyes being bigger than its stomach:eek::eek:

I want one too! It stinks being surrounded by cat loving neighbours who allow their cats to defecate under and around my Landie.
