I got a notification email from MS saying my Beta copy of Windows 7 is going to expire soon, please upgrade to the Release Candidate.
Fair enough. But I can't get the download to finish successfully, it always goes corrupt at 99% (after over 3GB of download time/bandwidth).
It installs some download manager (ActiveX), which does the download, but right at the end reports that the downloaded file is corrupt.
I have tried it 3 times from Win7 64-bit Beta (32-bit IE) and from XP 64-bit (32-bit IE also).
Can I download it without the Download Manager ActiveX?
Any thoughts?
