The Calendar is closing

OK So the uploading to the Calendar should of closed yesterday.....

At present there are not enough photo's in there for me to be able to narrow down...So at this point the Calendar is NOT going to go ahead.

The Calendar needs participation from YOU.....Last years was a great success and made somewhere around 1300/1400 dollars for the site.


I know some of you have had troubles uploading to the gallery......but if you know someone that has uploaded them I'm happy for them to upload the picture for you as long as they state in the title "uploading on the behalf of" otherwise I will just delete the photo assuming that the person has just uploaded more than one!

as your only allowed ONE photo per category and the same photo can't be used twice.

I'm going to leave the gallery open for one more week in the hope that some of you might get active and want to participate

the category's that are lacking are


Best rock climb
Best flex
Best convoy
Best outback
Best military
Best series
Best carnage (damage)


This is your last chance.....If you have nay pictures taken with a camera that was 5mp or above and you think it will fit in the category's above why not join in!

If there are no more uploads by the end of this week then the Calendar will be put to sleep

your doing a great job Lou ..but i think a combination of people not being able to upload the way your looking for (read... "Landscape"....l may be wrong and I'm sure you will correct me :D) and the fact that there are only 12 months in tHe year and many people wanted theres to make it in last yr that they just arnt interested maybe ...but as Ive said good job .

I've uploaded all i have but maybe i'll go out and take some more;)
Will be a shame to see it called off:(

all I can say mate is I can do it portrait, but I can guarantee that many people have far more landscapes then portrait;)......So I could change it for you but I reckon I would have even less pictures.

If you know anything about calendars you will realise that you can't have both formats and have it look good...I made that mistake in the last calendar I wasn't prepared to do that again

And maybe your right people aren't interested that's fine, if that is the case I'm not going to waist my effort and the Calendar wont happen. It can't make it self and it can't be made without pics.

But its funny I hold a competition in the camera section ever two weeks and many people upload and still do even when they don't win:).

yhea i know please don't get me wrong :(...your doing a great job i ws just trying to stir up some interest in my own cheeky way its all good ...ive uploaded a pic don't know if its wright but please tell me if it's not ....

Go to the Gallery and upload your pic as you normally would to the gallery. BUT instead change the category from 'Members Galleries' to 'Best .......'

And away you go :)

Still hopefully we can get he gallery sorted then revisit the idea, until then I will think of something else that can raise revenue for the site and its up keep
