I bought a WD passport 320 GIG today and did a backup using windows backup.
When choosing the disc to backup using the windows backup utility, Vista/HP would not allow highlighting discC only disc D ( was able to be ticked) which is a backup partition , which is AFAIK 9 gigs, and it crashed whenever I tried to back up into it previously.
The backup volume is 18 gigs , which seems to agree to my docs, pictures, music etc. I had everything ticked in the list in the utility.
Short of a recovery , how can I tell what is backed up? is there any way?
Should I also backup my Itunes and copy my photos separately?
Regards Philip A
