Guys, I've been reading all (I think) the threads on this issue and have tried a few of the solutions on my 2000 TD5 auto but the problem still exists. Does anyone have an updated list of items to look for, preferably in order of most to least likey?

I don't do the work myself but go to independent LR repair centres. Does anyone have good experiences with their repairer in Perth they can recommend?

On the odd occasion when I've got mine down in Perth and want something done on it, I've used Jordan Rovertech in Bentley - always good service and Kevin (the owner) probably knows more about Landrovers than anyone else you're likely to meet.
