What size boat for car topper?

Looking at getting a new tinnie to sit on top of my disco 1. What size would comfortably sit on the roof? I'm thinking about 3.5m or slightly longer what size boat has every one else got?

i have a wee little tinny. i think its only a 10'

3.55 quinne, rhino selfloader and bulldog foldup trailer.

just thinking,the amount of times this rig has been used in the last 2 years I may as well flog it off. Last few trips have used local boats and mine has sat on roof.:(:(

heh, funnily enough, we are thinking the same thing, carted this boat around for 15000 odd klms and only used it about a half dozen times

trailer was worse damnear$2000.00 and used once.most times just pullup next to water and drop tinnie straight in off roof.:)
