Wheel arch flares

I just got my Defender back from the panel beaters and they have fitted a glossy wheel arch flare, the others are all matt finish. They say you cannot buy the matt ones new, only the glossy ones. Is this correct or are they telling porkies?

Surely you could buy a set from the UK in matt black, otherwise pick up a 2nd hand set.

Ive just gone thru that process when I put rear flares on my 130

No mat ones are available according to the WA dealer as mat is simply the glossy ones left out in the sun for 12 months. Thats what Ive been told anyway but Im not 100% convinced I let you know in 12 months
