Hi all

wonder if you can help i have contaminated a fuel metering valve and fuel pressure relief valve less than 24 hours after collecting the car from a 50000km service i am being told this will cost me $2400 dollars, is it possible to be driving a car with no probs put it in for a service with water in the fuel line have them drain the sedementor and then after collecting the car have it crap itself less than 24 hrs later even though i hadn't fuelled up in that time?

What is your location?

That sounds like a total load of cr@p from your dealer to avoid a warranty claim. Nearly all 07MY Defender owners on the forum here, myself included, have had their PRV replaced as a warranty action item. One of them had their dealer try the "contaminated fuel" line but they won out in the end.
