I bought a near new (it was the spare) one, with the stock tyre, for $400.00. LR wanted $1200.00 FOR JUST THE RIM.

My Mate was thinking around $300.00 dollars for 5 alloys in good condition.
I think I might grab them

They are $700 for 4 at the local LR wrecker here in Adelaide, when he has them in stock. (No tyres)

The genuine LR boost alloy rims are not always easy to get second hand and are still often pricey - the price quoted - if indeed genuine, is without doubt a bargain.
To put your price in context, I really don't believe MR automotive were unreasonable to ask $400.00 for just one (it was a near new spare from a crashed 110) with a new Grabber tyre - as I said above, Austral actually want $1200.00 for just the rim - yep - that's 1 rim!

Have a look at Britsh Offroad $330 each or 4 for $1300

Thanks for all the input guys.I guess I should tell him the real value of his rims and then let him decide how much he wants for them, neither of us had any idea of their value until now.I think I would feel guilty if I didnt ,he is a very good Mate after all.
