This would be another vote done and on 3, but I like one as it reminds me when Mrs TwoUp and I picked up a pup from (I think it was Bankstown RSPCA, could be wrong) Sydney and had a lovely 12 years with him.

May I ask why you think it is unethical?

You don't have to vote....you can vote for someone else.

Done, good luck and you need to share how you did the last shot for us rank amateurs:)

The last shot was.......

3 tripods a mini maglight a broom handle and a remote release. Oh and some string

Two tripods were set up in front of my full mirrors in the bedroom...on the top I balanced a broom handle which surprisingly sat quit secure. I tied some string around the bottom of the mini maglight and let it hang.

I positioned my camera away on another tripod, camera was set to something like 30sec and set for remote trigger release F14 with a centre weighted meter. Its important not to touch the camera when your shutter is slow. I walked over to the dangling torch while it was on and started to move the torch in a circular motion keeping my self out of shot. Once I got some speed up I let go and hit the remote to release the shutter no the camera so the camera was recording the light moving as it slowed down.

I took only 5 photo's all of which came out very well and different to each other this is the one I liked the most.

And best of all this was created with NO POST PROCESSING!!! the only reason this had to go into lightroom was to be converted from raw and exported to jpeg.

Give it a go!! its very easy with very pleasing results:)

Votes submitted DB, i dont know how some people do it, take what seems to be an ordinary photo and just up the ante and take it to that next level and make a photo of what seems to be an ordinary situation and make it a cut above the rest. Had i of taken them they would have just been pictures of a dog etc, good work DB, nice photos

Seriously though guys this is to try and help me get to the second round and the second round only from then on in its all down to judges......

I don't get any of that money it all goes to helping a good cause my cause being the RSPCA......

The RSPCA help not just animals that are kept in cruel situations....but people too

We help many many people escape domestic violence situations..by caring for there animals...as many domestic violence victims often wont leave for fear of the animals or the partner threatening to kill them.

We help the elderly that are lonely and have no one to car for there animals when they have no choice but to be admitted to hospital....often they wont go into hospital unless they know there animals are cared for.

We help people with there animals in emergency situations such as losing there house....or some other unfortunate situation.

we help educate children and lobby for more legislation for animal cruelty

This is all done on public donation.....we are not supported by the govenment for all the programs that we do...

So help me try and give something back!!!!
