New 4x4 show, tonight

Hi folks, there’s a new show on paytv tonight at 8 pm.

The show is simply called “Your 4x4”, anybody got any info on what it’s about, other than the obvious?

Pity, we could do with a good Aussie Off Road show.

After the tip-off I forgot and watched TGA. I"m glad I didn't miss much. Loved the FJ40 vs. Nissan - I would have the FJ40 any day. (And they look much better "stock" than the lifted fibro monstors we see now.)

Channel 31 Melbourne has/had a good offraod show but I have crud reception so miss it.

I just watched this show and im sorry but it sucked. They had 2 blokes runnin around wasting fuel, a 13 yo girl, video of them being bogged heaps and saying the tracks were easy and the whole time all i could see on there cars were 4wdtv stickers! (i like 4wdtv by the way). You wanna know the worst part? Not one Landrover in sight. Well, i've had enough. I', startin my own show. Its gonna be called BogHole and will debut on youtube on the Monday the 6th of July. Its gonna be 10 mins long and cover the following:

Why you should change ur diff oil

My Discovery driving through bogholes.

Why you should service ur winch

My Discovery driving through bogholes.

And if i can convince her, Mrs.Mudsloths boobs, so prob just the above :)

The show on Aurora is new and they did have some good 4wding on it. Good one em, i hope they succeed.

I built the car to drive through stuff like that. If i don't drive through stuff like the car has no purpose. Besides, it annoys the hell outa people whos cars cant drive through stuff like that.

I also take home a wagon load of rubbish from other peoples trips. I easily collect 2 garbage bags full of other peoples discarded rubbish.

I don't chew up tracks, the vids you see of me are on tracks rated for vehicles with 35s and experianced drivers. The holes have been there for years.

Can't see the point really. Chewing up tracks and vehicles to no apparent purpose. Just makes it harder for the next person to get through.

You wanna know y i drive the hard line and the hard tracks? I Love it. As far as making it harder for people to get through, read my last post. If you can't get through where i go you shouldn't be on that track, that's what track ratings are for. The majority of tracks i follow have more than 1 way around. If you watch the Yarra Ranges video on my youtube site u'll notice the vehicle bogging down at the start and driving through by the end, I could argue that i actually made it easier for the next person. Anyhoo, i think we are off the thread a tad. I'm gonna start a new thread called "I don't see the point of driving through mud" :twisted:

Besides, my old lady likes to take photos in places where there are no tracks, without this vehicle shed be expect me to buy a helicopter. Or worse, walk for days on end...... and im the pack horse of the family so bugger that.
