We have just had a thunder storm with hail here at day break:eek::eek:
I was not expecting this so a few things were left out last night including all my vehicles. Got them all under cover except the 89 Rangie:(
Looks like we may be in for some good rain here Thursday,Friday and Saturday.
Typical on the land. At first it doesn't rain and you can't get your crops in and then it wont dry out enough. I'm not complaining though:D

I was woken by the sound and light display just before first light this morning - 0500-0530. got 0.5mm out of that lot, no hail, and leaves us just 0.5mm short of 200mm for the year.
Judging from the road into town this morning, some places had a lot more than I did.

It still looks good for Friday and Saturday. This change is out last chance here for winter. They are now talking another el nino :( It's only 35% accurate here I recon as can pick up the edge of monsoons.
Have just purchased another Tractor:eek: So now have six in action as so much happening here at once at the moment. The fuel bill:o
The latest is a New Holland 7840 FWA SLE. I need the 4WD to get around here in the wet as still production feeding.
I also don't have time to do a out of chassis engine rebuild on the John Deere.... Only has 14000 hrs on it,I want warranty;)
I hope this rain event makes it to southern NSW and VIC anyway.... I know you have had it real tough there.

Well it's a gale in Perth today ... Lightening + rain and I put a whole heap of timber on my tin roof of the shed to keep the sheets from flapping
Sending it your way Tony :D

Your sending the shed this way,That's very kind, I need the space;) It won't fly very well with all that timber on it though:p
Had a few days of wet here:cool: Hasn't measured much but nice and damp here + kept jack frost at bay.

Well the last 2 days have been high winds down here. This morning we have had about 15-20mm in less than an hour. Rained really heavy, the streets had 75mm plus of water in the gutters within minutes. Backed off now but is still raining.
Got stuck in the Suzuki / Yamaha dealership at 0830 after dropping the kids to school, so while it was raining bought a new DRZ 400EK9 and a TTR 110E.:o:twisted::twisted: Well at least I will blame the rain when Mel gets home.

The wind has come up here today, I found a sheet of iron up in a 800 acre paddock today about 3 kms from the campus and at 2800 ft above sea level:confused: Is this the first air drop of Mike's shed:D Has evidence of heavy weights at some stage and some minor rust. Need to send the next bit 2.5 kms further to the S/E so I don't have to drag it to far:p
