Replacement footwell panels

Does anyone know if the firewall foot well panels are available here in Aus or do they have to come from England??.....we know they have to be cut out and replacements welded in. Anyone got an idea or price?

You can get them from Land Vehicle Spares at Silverdale on the outskirts of Sydney ph 02 4774 1741.

I got some a few months back at $88 per side.

Getting the old ones out wasn't too hard - buy yourself a spot weld drill bit from an engineer's suppliers and life becomes much easier.

Does anyone know if the firewall foot well panels are available here in Aus ...
They are available at a number of places in Oz, I would try MR Automotive up your way.

However one comment is that all the replacements I've seen are made of a thinner guage zinc-anneal sheet than the original (black) metal panels and they don't have the ribs like the originals. So I am thinking that the new ones may transmit more road noise or vibrations and not be as good as the originals.

we have all the necessary welding equipment here and we can fold them just wanted originals that's all:(
