Looks good.
Everyone has gone mad for those headlights with LED patterns for parkers (Started with Audi I think, but now Porsche too).
Thanks for the link.

Apart from the lights which you have to get close to see, and some centre console changes it isn't really enough to justify the 4 tag, it is a facelifted 3 with an extra engine option.
Looks good though.

They mention significant changes to the suspension, terrain response and some other stuff, but you're right - the D4 tag is probably for marketing purposes.

The magazines reckon there's enough changes to warrant the change in model name. What you guys are saying is like suggesting the D2 should've been called a D1.

Having had a D1 and a D2 I can say there appears to me and going only on brochures so far, a lot more difference between D1 and D2 than it seems there will be between D3 and D4.

The D4 appears just to be a facelifted D3. So much so that instead of a D3 being just a D3 now, they're a D3/4 (according to LR).

The D3.5.
A new engine and revamped interior does not a new model make.
For that you're looking at changed chassis, interior/exterior dimensions, not a makeover.
Notably, the RRS is not RRS 2.

Seems more like a 200tdi to 300tdi kind of change rather than a new model...

Pity we won't be able to get the 5.0 petrol in a crate for 10 grand.
It's the only change worth bothering with............
